I prefer wheat flour rice cakes to rice cakes, but while rice cakes are often on sale, wheat flour ones aren't. It's such a shame.

You need to add eggs when pan-frying them. Crunchy and chewy. The package have sauce, pickled papaya and fried onion but I dont use fried onion. Not the same as authentic “bột chiên” which I had eaten in Saigon but it is quite good.
