I don't know why it tastes a bit like mixed nuts filling. I don't like mixed nuts to begin with, and I can't get used to it.

The crust of this Suzhou-style mooncake from Daoxiangcun was a little hard, but the taste was okay.
It's flaky and nutty, so have a drink handy since it’s pretty dry. One bite and the whole thing might crumble. The hint of rose is interesting and worth a try.

It doesn't quite taste like how I remembered, but it's not very sweet for mooncake. the filling is winter melon and different kinds of nuts and seeds. it's good with tea. I think it will make a good breakfast
