I love keeping dried shiitake mushrooms at home because they add so much flavor to dishes! Once rehydrated, they have a nice chewy texture and a really rich mushroom taste. I also save the soaking liquid to use in cooking because it's full of flavor. So useful for soups, rice, and steamed dishes!

Dynasty Dried Shiitake Sliced Mushrooms is very convenient. I soaked the mushrooms for approximately 30 minutes. Then drained all the water and squeezed all the water out from the mushrooms. Then it’s ready to cook. Please follow, like, and support my videos

Haven’t bought dried pre-sliced shiitake mushrooms before, but this was one of the better priced options for the amount. I’m assuming these will rehydrate faster than whole ones.
I love soaking these guys in hot broth to make it happen. They’re perfect as I want to eliminate both steps - storage and chopping. If you want to make it into smaller bits - break tinier when dry.
