Since there were no fresh water chestnuts available, I could only buy these canned ones, hoping they would be good for making water chestnut cake.

The water chestnuts are still crunchy in the can. Good for adding to larger meals. The delivery was also good, then was not dented or damaged at all.

Excellent, crisp water chestnuts. I minced the entire can to make Lion's Head Meatballs. The water chestnuts remain crisp, even after I browned the Meatballs and steamed them for 40 minutes. I will definitely purchase again.
