Huge chestnuts!
Before cooking I washed the chestnuts whether they were good quality or not. Warm-eaten chestnuts would float at the top of the water and good ones would sink to the bottom of the bowl. At least one third of the chestnuts were floating and I had to toss them out. It was disappointment experience.

It's a pretty big bag. I opened it, took out two handfuls, and put them in the air fryer at 375F for 4 minutes. They got scalded. On days when I can't buy new long hair (a type of fried chestnut), these roasted chestnuts look good, so I figured I might as well try them.
