The taste is very authentic, almost identical to what I had in Liuzhou! The ingredient packet was generous, especially the pickled bamboo shoots and peanuts, which were incredibly fragrant and crunchy. The chili oil was strong enough; add less if you can't handle spice. The whole kitchen smelled amazing while cooking (although my roommate said it smelled like the toilet ), but it was truly satisfying to eat.
