I weighed them and they are 3.2 lbs. They have a sweet taste but quite different texture than the ones from my local store.

Bartlett pears are a classic pear variety, similar to Ya pears. The flesh is delicate and juicy, with a rich aroma when ripe, and a soft, sweet taste. If they are slightly firm when you first buy them, you can let them ripen naturally for a few days; the flavor will improve afterward. Ripe Bartlett pears are very juicy, with a subtle honey aroma and a natural sweetness. Unlike some pear varieties, they are not rough and have a refreshing, clean taste.
One of my favorite types of pears. Delicious also boiled into tea.
