This is a delicious, chewy cake made from cassava, mung beans, and coconut milk (banh khoai mì dau xanh). I have both steamed it and baked it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to cook it since I don't have a microwave, but either method requires about 20 minutes of heating, as I noticed that 15 minutes wasn't enough to get the middle warm. A nice skin has formed on the sides.
Cassava cake tastes delicious.
The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.

Honestly…this is soooo good. It’s as if mochi and cake had a baby. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. The flavor reminds me of red bean (when it’s sweet) and coconut. If you crave textures like this and can’t stop thinking about finding fun chewy things to eat this is for you! The price guys! The price!! I’m so glad you have to have a minimum of two purchased, going to get 5 next time!! Ohh and the serving size is accurate too!!
