These bamboo shoots have been refrigerated for far too long. The tenderest parts of the tips have all turned soft and black. They're no longer fresh. The root part was left too long. It's very tough and difficult to peel. I made bamboo shoot and pork rib soup, but it didn't have much of a bamboo shoot flavor.
This is the first time I've bought water chestnuts this year; last year's were delicious! I'm really looking forward to it!
This bamboo shoot is inedible. Even after blanching and washing, it's still incredibly bitter, even more so than bitter melon! I missed the after-sales service period, so I can only post this review here!

After peeling off the outer skin, only a small stem remains. I shredded it, blanched it, and then stir-fried it with king oyster mushrooms, tofu strips, and celery—it was quite delicious. However, it's too expensive; I'm considering whether to buy it again.
