I love this brand of sweet red beans. It is sweet, but not overly sweet. I mix it with vanilla ice cream to make red bean ice cream. I use half a can in a quart of ice cream. I put the other half of the can in the freezer in a baggie like this to Use later. I cannot think of a better way to get your fiber than to put it in ice cream!

Good quality adzuki paste, already sweetened. I used it on pancakes and in red bean buns (pictured). There is some liquid separation in the can over time, although it's not enough to require any mixing.

Although it is more expensive, it is definitely worth it. Soak it overnight, add appropriate high-quality water and boil it for two hours the next day. It will be dense, soft and delicate. Add appropriate amount of brown sugar, and it will be healthy for breakfast and afternoon tea
