Good quality galangal
Good price and great quality.
I ground up some galangal to make Chaoshan-style pickled vegetables—it smells so good! Such a familiar taste!
Since there's quite a lot of it, I cut it up and freeze it to make it last longer. It smells great and is an essential ingredient in Thai cuisine.
This was really tough, I don't think I got a fresh batch. Had to throw away most of it.
