This chicken is easy to chop; half can be used for soup and the other half for stir-frying!

What I ordered: A whole frozen native chicken, the kind we grew up eating back home. It arrived frozen solid in a bag, and I defrosted it in the fridge before cooking. The flavor: This is the main reason to buy it. Native chicken tastes more like chicken than regular supermarket chicken, with a deeper, richer flavor, and it makes a great sauce. It was perfect for my caldereta because the meat soaked up the tomato sauce. The texture: It's leaner and firmer than regular chicken, with a bit of chew, which is how native chicken should be. It needs a longer, slower simmer to get tender, so don't rush it. The pieces are smaller and bonier too, but the bones add a lot of flavor to the pot. Convenience: Having it delivered frozen is great when there's no Filipino market nearby. Just plan ahead, since a whole bird takes time to thaw in the fridge.

It's so small. Regretting buying it at Costco...

It's not very spicy; it's great for making spicy wontons.

Lots of green onions

Mala Tang ready! Hahaha

The cakes are delicious, I've bought them many times.

The bok choy I ordered this time was so-so. Why did they send me rotten leaves? You can tell just by looking at the top of the bok choy. It's okay, it's still edible.

Love the fresh cilantro

chewy and tasty

It's absolutely amazing, but it tastes delicious, right? It's really good.

Nice and firm, worked great for cooking. Good size piece.

I buy this every month. There's nothing better than this when I'm too lazy to cook. I just wish it were a little cheaper ㅠㅠ It's a burden to buy when it's not on sale.

This time there are many small ones, which is also good.

Hair is softer and less frizzy

The boxes are a convenient size. Packaging allows for you take the top partially off for ease of access while keeping the lower half of the box to store the drink pouches.

Using napa cabbage instead of bok choy in the rolls is super delicious! ^_^

It's delicious. There's definitely a reason it's number one haha.

This radish looks good It's autumn, a healthy food choice

It was on sale, so it was a good deal.
