It's a little cheaper than in Japanese supermarkets, but it's not pure sansho pepper; it's a mixture with Sichuan peppercorns. The bottle is very small, so it's expensive. I'm looking for pure sansho pepper powder.

I've been interested in this Sechi Sechuan pepper oil for a while. I'm looking forward to making mapo tofu with it. It's hard to find in regular stores, so I'm glad I was able to purchase it.

The expiration date is quite long, so it seems like it can be used with peace of mind.

Great quality and you get a lot in the bag! The bonito flakes have a nice smoky, savory flavor and taste really fresh. Definitely worth keeping in the pantry!
