It's spicy, but not too spicy. I bought it to make noodles.

The peppercorns are whole, and you can smell a strong, numbing aroma as soon as you open the package; they smell exceptionally fresh. They're very useful for stir-fries, making dishes like boiled fish, boiled beef, spicy hot pot, or even making your own peppercorn oil. Just a little bit is enough to bring out the aroma, numbing without being astringent.

It's perfect to eat when you don't have an appetite.
