Love this style of longanisa. Great paired with fried rice and sunnyside up egg or what we dub in the Philippines "longsilog". It's juicy and has a slightly vinegary or sour taste instead of the usual sweet flavor. Anyways, though it already has vinegary flavor, I still dunk it in spiced vinegar dip Sinamak lol How I prepared is simmer it first in a bit of water until it evaporated entirely to cook it evenly especially the center. Then I lightly drizzled it with oil, and fry both sides. Usually I fry my longanisa with it's own rendered fats, but this didn't release or render it's fats, it remained intact. Which brings me to my personal tip - cook it intact as a link to keep the juices from escaping. Only cut them separately right before consuming if you want it to stay juicy.

Amazing passion fruit flavor! The texture is a bit interesting as a first time consumer, but I found it super easy to get used to as it’s just very chewy. I’ll forever give it 5/5 stars as long as the flavor/texture stay the same, but I wish it included 1 or 2 pouches more or at least were a little cheaper as I think it’s a bit of an expensive product.

The prices are much better than Asian markets, the food is fresh, and it's packaged very carefully. I need to buy groceries from Wee every week, but there's no fresh food delivery service through Gofftown, so I can only order through a friend or acquaintance. It's a shame because it's so inconvenient! Hopefully, they will offer fresh food delivery through Gofftown in the future. I'll only buy from Wee and won't need to go to any other market anymore.
