I've tried many different kinds, but this is definitely the best! It also has a shelf life of over six months. It arrives with an ice pack. It's on the sweeter side, so it goes well with miso soup with napa cabbage and fried tofu. Of course, it's also essential for pork miso soup!
I made kimchi and seaweed rice balls, then mixed in bonito flakes for extra flavor. Bonito flakes are great as a umami seasoning.
