Nobody told me these glutinous rice balls are as big as steamed buns! The outer skin is soft and chewy, the red bean paste filling is delicate and sweet, and then coated with a layer of soybean powder, making it chewy and fragrant with soybean flavor—it tastes great. But they're really big; one is quite filling, and one was basically enough for me. For first-time buyers, I suggest cooking one per person first.
