The glutinous rice shumai with an old Shanghai flavor are delicious. They're savory, fragrant, soft, and chewy, perfect for breakfast. Kids especially love them. I've bought them many times.

I alternate between buying squid bodies and this. Personally, I think squid is better for stir-frying, but I think this would be good for those who like a chewy texture. Rather than being amazing, it feels like large boiled squid or octopus legs, so I think it would be better to put it in dishes like Jjamppong. It feels a bit lacking for stir-frying.

I thought it was freshly made at a local restaurant, but what I got was a frozen roast chicken from an out-of-state restaurant. Fortunately, it tasted good and not too salty.
