these came fresh and smell wonderful. I will wash them and let them dry, then I'll put some in the freezer and some in the refrigerator. when i portion my vegetables i tend to not waste them and i get longer freshness with freezing some and having some ready to use.

The Japanese pumpkin is in great condition. Its skin is intact, and the flesh inside is dense and naturally sweet. It can be roasted, made into creamy pumpkin soup or used for baking desserts.
It's not very spicy; it's great for making spicy wontons.
I add it to mushroom stew, mala tang, and soybean paste stew.
