They actually have a cooling effect on the taste!! it is definitely matcha with some mint menthol to give it that cool ice cream feeling. you taste the matcha but then get a cooling sensation. this is very unique I didn't expect that. the cookies are designed to look like different types of Chinese architecture ancient windows to celebrate Summer.
