The meat wasn't fresh; it smelled strongly of salty meat, and the meat itself was discolored. Cooking it couldn't mask the smell.
The sausages are sweet and delicious, with a chewy, tasty casing.
The Teochew rice noodles are soft and fresh. They do not stick together after boiling. I can cook stir-fried ho fun or noodle soup with them.
